Check your version of Internet Explorer
To see which version of Internet Explorer you currently have installed on your computer, go to the Help menu at the top of screen and click on About Internet Explorer. A pop up window will appear showing your current version. 1. Click Help 2. Click About Internet Explorer

Change your home page
To change your home page, go to the Tools menu and click on Internet Options. Replace the current URL with the URL you wish to use as your home page. Click the Apply button and then the Ok button at the bottom of the window to apply your settings.

Offline mode
When in the offline mode, you can only view webpages that are stored on your computer (versus retrieving the pages from the internet.) To exit the offline mode, click the File menu. If you are in the offline mode, there will be a checkmark next to "Work Offline". Click Work Offline to uncheck it, and you'll exit the offline mode. 1. Click File 2. Click Work Offline

Remove dial up wizard
A dial-up wizard box will pop up when you open Internet Explorer if the browser is not set to connect using your local area network (LAN). To correct this, simply follow the instructions below.

2. Click Internet Options
3. Click the Connections tab
4. Click Setup
5. Select Connect Manually
6. Click Next
7. Select Local Area Network
8. Click Next
9. Uncheck Automatic Discovery of Proxy Server
10. Uncheck Use Automatic Configuration Script
11. Uncheck Manual proxy server
12. Click Next
13. Select No
14. Click Next
15. Click Finish

Setup instructions for Internet Explorer 6.0
1. Click Tools
2. Click Internet Options
3. Click the Connections tab
4. Click the Setup button in the upper right corner
5. Click Next on the Welcome screen
6. Select Connect to the internet
7. Click Next
8. Select Setup my connection manually
9. Click Next
10. Select Connect using a broadband connection that is always on
11. Click Next
12. Click Finish
