After Microsoft Outlook Express is installed on your computer, it needs to be configured with your information so that you may view and post to newsgroups.

  1. Under the Tools menu, click on the Accounts option
  2. Click the Add button, then click the News option
  3. Enter your name (i.e. John Doe)
  4. Click the Next button
  5. Enter your email address (i.e. jdoe@knology.net)
  6. Click the Next button
  7. Enter Knology's news (NNTP) server: news.knology.net
  8. Click the Next button
  9. Click the Finish button
10. Click the Close button
11. When prompted to download news groups, click Yes
